Dear distinguished guests, colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we cordially invite you to attend the 7 th Asian Conference on Endometriosis (ACE2018), being held from September 14 to 16, 2018, at Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in Taipei, Taiwan.
Endometriosis is a debilitating disease with an enigmatic pathogenesis. With a prevalence of approximately 10% in women of reproductive age, endometriosis is the most common gynecological disease that significantly reduces life quality and economic productivity. Being the most populated continent, Asia suffers from endometriosis much more than any other continent in the world. Hence, the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis was established in 2012. The society holds its annual Asian Conference on Endometriosis (ACE) to accomplish its mission which is to raise awareness and advance the knowledge of the endometriosis, to facilitate the dissemination of innovations and better clinical care for the disease.
The theme of the 7 th ACE is “Re-explore Endometriosis”. With the newly developed technologies, novel emerging concepts, and many high throughput Omics databases, we now experience the never-being-had golden opportunity to re-visit the etiology and pathophysiology of this old disease. The ultimate goal is aiming to develop alternative therapeutic regimens to alleviate the pain and other symptoms associated with it. The conference will provide an excellent opportunity for reviewing the current advances in endometriosis. Many distinguished scientists have accepted our invitation to participate in this conference. We welcome clinicians and researchers submitting their works to the 7th ACE and attend the conference to share their discoveries. Presentation papers will be given in the form of plenary lectures, symposia, and as oral speeches or posters.
In addition to the conference, Taipei is one of the most diverse and famous tourist spots in Asia. You will find this technologically advanced city also nurtures a wide variety of tourism and ecological resources, a diversity of traditional folk customs, a rich culture, modern arts, fantastic food, and the friendliest people in the world.
We look forward to welcoming you to the 7th Asian Conference on Endometriosis and to the beautiful city of Taipei in September 2018.
